Previously, Sean was the COO of Capitol Advantage, a
software company that provides grassroots activism and
fundraising software to over 1000 non-profits and
associations. He is a frequent speaker on the non-profit
circuit and typically discusses advocacy and fundraising
strategies for organizations.
Sean's
career has also included experiences at Webridge, where he
lead the company's expansion into Japan, and Deloitte
Consulting, where he was a management consultant to Global
1000 organizations. Sean is also active in the Public
Affairs Council and the DC Technology Council, and along
with NIAC, he is focused on forming a new organization to
promote Washington DC resident voting rights in Congress.
He moved
to Washington DC in the days after September 11th and has
previously lived in Tehran, Iran; Portland, Ore; Madison,
WI; and Dallas and Austin, TX. Sean is also an avid traveler
who has explored over 35 countries on six continents
including a 1998 return visit to Iran. He has studied and
speaks Farsi, Spanish, Russian and French and is an honors
graduate of the McCombs School of Business at the University
of Texas at Austin.
